I have a 10.2 Xserve, some 10.2 G4 and other 9.2 G3.
None of the G3 can log into the server, the error message is "The connexion was unexpectedly broken"

Connexion from 10.2 to 10.2, or from 9.2 to 10.2 (not server) works perfectly although,
Can anyone help me. We are stuck with a powerful server and almost nobody to work with it...

thanx

This is a shot in the dark, and maybe you already tried it.

Change a users password on the server. Then try to connect with 9 again. I am assuming this is a new setup.

I saw this error when I set one up recently. I just don't remember all the details.

I found a clue in an apple Technote: it works if I select the server in the chooser using the IP address (buttin: <server IP address>), not the icon in the chooser window. This error was mentioned if I remember for OSXS 1.0, but I did not experience it with OSXS 10.1. Now it seems to be back with OSXS 10.2...
BTW: when you have made your connexion using the IP adddress, make an alias of the mounted server, further connexions will work straightahead.
