I'm a newbie Mac OS X Server user, and I was wondering how one can connect to my server using FTP. In other words, where will I find the address?

In Server Settings, I've already enabled the FTP connections, but that's about it. I really don't know how to customize FTP in any way. Do I have to do more, because so far I've had no luck. I'm trying to upload files from one of my computers to the other.

Thanks.

You can see you IP address either by checking the Network preference pane in Preferences, or by running ifconfig -a in a terminal window.

If you're on a local network (i.e. are trying to connect from a machine in the same network) that may be all you need.

If you're running behind a NAT router (e.g. are sharing a network connection) and are trying to connect from the outside world, you'll also need to configure your router to forward ports 21 (and maybe 20) to your machine's local IP address.
