I'm having a weird issue with my OSX Server box.

I'm running 10.2.3 Server, and recently I tried connecting to it via AFP and noticed it wasn't responding or locatable.

So I went to the box and opened up Server Settings.app to see if AFP was running, and nothing is there!

All the tabs that used to be there are gone, all the modules are gone, and all that's left is "Server Info" under the general tab. It also says, under that, "Server Status: 0 Running"

AFP isn't up, nor is CUPS sharing, and many other things. Apache is running, as is FTP and DHCP. Very odd indeed.

Does anyone have any ideas of what I can do to fix this? I'd really prefer not to have to reinstall. I tried reinstalling the 10.2.3 update (this problem occured in 10.2.1 as well), clearing the cache files, repairing permisions, logging in as root, etc But nothing works.

Anyone have some ideas?

Is this a legit copy of the software? If not, you don't have a valid serial number. If you have a legal serial number, try reentering it.

Yeah it's legit! I'll try re-entering it when I get back home tonight.

I'm still confused why it'd randomly stop though...
