Hi there, I heard that a former employee at my work (which I canīt get hold of) had a firewire disk that he could use to connect to any of the computers that we have (around 15 computers all running OS X.2) .
When he connected, he was automatically logged in to the computer with his own preferences.
Does anyone here know how this is done?

Thanks in advance,

Bit

You can install Mac OS X on an external FireWire drive then plug it into any recent Mac and boot off it using the Startup Manager (hold Option key at boot).

Apple KnowledgeBase Article #106178 talk about it in more detail.
