The shared volume served by my Mac OS X Server has its view settings set correctly when accessed from a X machine. When accessing from a OS9 machine it always starts in icon view. Setting it to list view helps for the current session, but the setting is lost after unmounting the server volume and remounting it.
Does anybody know how to set this permanently? The finder plist is and was set to list view, a related Apple Knowledge Base document explains things for a X machine that accesses the server volume, but no help for a OS9 Mac.
Is this a bug?
