The company that I work for is requesting an evaluation of servers that our area covers. This evaluation will cover server replacement.

Currently we have a Silicon Graphics server that is using Fullpress for OPI.

I'm looking into alternatives on both Mac and Windows platforms. So far I haven't found anything for X Serve. Does anyone know of OPI software that will work? Would it be strictly UNIX software to run through the terminal? I'm waiting to hear from IPTech regarding Can OPI.

Any help, suggestions or pointing in the right direction would be helpful and greatly appreciated.

Take a look at Helios Ethershare - it's run on OS X for years and almost certainly runs on an XServe. Actually, it looks like the OPI product is now called ImageServer. It should do what you want.
