We're using 3 Xserves as a basis for a distributed Software system, so we'r enot web/email hosting etc. Why does this matter? Well we're devloping the system now, and when we are not testing the system they are normally put to sleep.
However, sometimes when i wake them up, they throw a system identifier light and the log shows a "blower status changed" statement for the PCI fan. Like i said this only seems to happen on a wake-up, I've tried leaving the boxes up for a couple weeks at a tiem and they've been fine. of course, the frustrating part is that it is an intermittent problem and hard to reproduce.
Has anyone had this issue? Should we be worried?
thanks in advance,
