Just FYI,
There appears to be an incompatibility between PowerBooks and OS X Server... based on my own experiences and a couple threads in the Discussions on the Apple website.
If a machine running OS X Server 10.2 shares printers, and then a PowerBook with 10.2 tries to print to one of those shared printers, it will queue up the job, but it will never print. In fact, the job will be stuck in PrintCenter... with no ability for the user to delete it. PrintCenter will just say:
"Unable to connect to IPP host: undefined error 0"
or something like that.
The solution? Don't use printer sharing on OS X Server. Instead, let one of your OS X Client machines handle the printer sharing.
