I've never worked with OSX Server before.
I've never worked with Macs other then in peer peer networking.
I may be getting some work where I'll be setting up a network that could end up being client server, using the server for it's home dir, logging on to the server, etc.
I have no way to get a copy of OSX Server.
Where would be some good places to get an idea of how it's setup, and how to work with it?
It's conceivable that this place may have an Xserve, I have no idea. I need to be prepared for most anything.
Any resources you all can point me to would be greatly appreciated.

The OS X Server web page has lots of documentation from Apple:

http://www.apple.com/server/documentation/

(although crap, it looks like it's all updated for 10.3)

For older manuals, look here:

http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=50525

The 10.2 manual is quite large, but if I remember correctly, was actually pretty good.

Apple's own OS X Server mailing list is also a very good resource.
