Will it run, as OS X Server does? According to a friend of mine who attended the Apple press conference where Xserve was launched, Jaguar Server won't work on anything except Xserve.

Sounds weird right, not to be able to install Jaguar Server on a standard equipped G4... Thoughts? I'm planning to install Jaguar Server on several pre-Xserve servers, so I'm curious...

I can't think of a reason why Apple wouldn't allow Jaguar Server to run on pre-Xserve machines. After all, OS X Server is currently supported on iMacs.

However, I don't believe that Server Monitor will be usable with anything but an Xserve.
