I have both MacOS X Client and MacOS X Server. Eventually, i intend to setup a server, but not for many months. Having previously reinstalled MacOS X 10.1 over MacOS X 10.1.3, which i later learned is a bad thing, i decided last weekend to do an HD initialization and clean install. Rather than reinstalling the client, however, i decided to install MacOS X Server to take a peek at it and become familiar with some of its features.

Is there any reason not to use MacOS X Server for everyday use on a Mac you don't intend to use as a server machine? I understand i'll probably want to turn off certain server related packages, including WatchDog. But is it essentially correct to think of MacOS X Server as a souped up MacOS X Client? Or are there enough differences in configuration files and what not to view these as fundamentally different critters?

Are there security considerations/differences?

I noted that the coma sleep problem i had been having has apparently gone away, as did a USB problem i had. But i'm guessing that had more to do with the clean install than it did the Server vs Client question.
