Does OS X Server support Printer Sharing?
If so, with what printers?
If not, is OS X Server really server software?

Thanks. What I meant was: Does it *really* support it?
In three recent threads in the other MacNN OS X forums,
three different people have asserted that OS X Server does
not *not* support sharing of USB printers.
This is a fairly critical issue to me as I am about to place
an order for OS X Server and printers (and Macs). I certainly
do NOT want to buy something unusable.
Thanks,
Brian

well I'm running OSX Server on my server box, and a new Canon S800 inkjet printer is connected to it via USB. Although the server can connect to it, it seems it can not be shared, which makes me really upset. I thought that since OSX Server had printer sharing, that the other 3 computers on my network could print to it, but unfortunately, I can not get it to work
If anyone knows how, I'd love to hear it. It seems only "postscript compatible" printers are supported, so I think they need to be connected to the server box via Ethernet.

Yes, the printers must be PostScript printers; but they do not
have to be Ethernet, USB is fine. Not too big a deal if you need to buy a printer... but definitely a pain if you wanted to use one you already had.
