The Research Systems Unix Group of the University of Michigan is pleased to announce the release of
Radmind 0.6.0, a suite of Unix-based tools designed for efficient remote file system administration through the creation of discrete loadsets and the use of built-in tripwiring capabilities.
Radmind is a client/server package for file system management, with an eye to the creation of loadsets for any number of client machines, the selected files of which are stored and retrieved at need from the server running the radmind daemon.
When run as a tripwire, radmind can examine the integrity of the local file system and, should it find any problems, restore the file system to the version matching the transcript on the radmind server.
This release includes support for HFS+ volumes, assuring that no Mac OS metadata is lost in the process. You may download a Mac OS X installer package here:

We're currently managing a number of HFS+-formatted Mac OS X machines with a Mac OS X Server box running as a radmind server, with great success.
