Every three or four days, my serveradmind process goes nuts. Looks like it starts eating tons of memory and making the VM swap to disk like crazy. I can't really tell what it's doing, since fs_usage refuses to run for lack of the "trace" feature (so it says). Killing it (with kill -9) seems not to harm anything, and it gets back to normal for another few days. This is on an iMac/266 with 384MB of physical RAM... anybody else seen this?

I've found that if the Server Admin conenction is broken before it is done polling the server for the status of all the modules, then bad things can happen. I usually solve this by "kill -KILL". Not to mention that during this 'polling' process I've seen the 'serveradmin' daemon take up to 100% CPU for 3-4 minutes.... thank gawd for the dually I'm using. Otherwise my site would probably stop....
