I need some guidance on this one issue:
I have a dual G4 OS X Server box that has three (3) shared discs on it. Right now, all of the client machines (mixed OS 9 and X but mostly X) mount the discs by either the Chooser or by the "Go" menu and then "Connect to server" in OS X. What I want to do is have these three volumes mount automatically through the "Network" icon in OS X (you know, the one that appears when you go to "Computer" and is right next to your local volumes).
I have gone over the OS X Server Admin Guide and the NetInfo guide and still have not had any success. Is there any way someone could give me or direct me to a run-through?
Thanks a lot!

What you want to do is as not as intuitive as you might think. I fact Apple is moving away from the NetInfo sharing model in the next OS release. The "Network" is a group of shares and mounts mounted at boot time. They are authenticated against a shared NetInfo domain. This means your user accounts will also exist in the same shared domain and not local. There might be a way at scripting this at logon without using a shared netinfo domain. I think that it would be best to see what will be coming in the next release.

Are you having trouble with getting a NetInfo network started, or with getting clients of the NetInfo server to mount /Network directories?

I think I'm having trouble with the clients mounting the shared volumes. I've done everything documented and suggested concerning the server.
Thanks!

You've done everything documented? Given they document numerous alternatives, I hope not. What exactly have you done?
Have you set up a two-tier domain? Have you set up user accounts in the root domain? Are you able to login to those user accounts from the clients?
