Has anyone tried this? I want to use views, but the BIND that comes with OS X server is 8.2.3 (or something close to that).

Were you successful? Can you start/stop the service from the server manager?

I have a version 9 of bind running on my OS X.1.2 client, but as I dont have the server manager, I couldnt tell you if it still works. The actual program compiled and installed cleanly.

Cheers,
Ben.

Well, it's not server specific, but there is a tip here http://www.macosxhints.com/ from 2 days ago on how to do this. I'm running BIND 9.2 currently just for local caching.
