Is there a way to limit printing to a networked printer? My school uses a software package that checks with the server to see how many 'print credits' have been bought, and that allows each user to print so many copies until the print credits run out. All of this runs under OS 9, and this lack of print capability is the main thing holding us back from moving to OS X Server. Thanks,

Macintosh Manager 2 under OS X Server does allow you to set print quotas for Workgroups (but not individual users from what I can tell) so this probably would not work for what you are trying to use it for. However you should check out Print Services discussion under the Mac OS X Server Discussions on Apple's support forums as other people are having the same need. Also I expect the print situation will change after Apple integrates the CUPS printing architecture (http://www.cups.org) that they licensed, as job quotas are one of its many features.
