the administrator before me migrated all of the Users to OSX merely by dragging them from OS9. this created major issues with the Drop Box. any user could drop items into someone's drop box but then that someone could not read his own drop box. i thought i had solved this by doing a find and then chmod'ing every drop box to 0722. now regular users can utilize the drop box as it is intended. but if an administrator drops an item into someone's drop box that someone doe not have permissions to read that file. the clients are using OS 9 to open said files. we (the administrators) are using both OSX and OS9 to drop files.

i'm sure this is a one line fix, this is my 3rd day to OSX server and i'm under terrible pressure to recover everything the initial administrator could not. so if anyone has any idea about what i could do, please let me know. thanks so much.
