G4 Server Dilemma.....

I have a web site that is currently hosted on a shared web server. However, my sites traffic is overwhelming the shared server and I have been asked to move my site to a dedicate server.

My Web site uses FileMaker 4.0, Lasso and WebStar is the server software.

My choices are:

$1599 G4 tower
$ 599 WebStar
$ 649 Lasso
$1000 FileMaker
------------------------------
$3887

or

$1599 G4 Tower
$ 499 OS X Server
$1000 FileMaker
$1200 Lasso V5 for OS X
-------------------------------
$4298 TOTAL


I can not decided which set up is best. I really don't need OS X as my site runs just fine with OS 9 and WebStar.

Any ideas, suggestion??

from a common sense standpoint,

i would definately go with os 9.2 over 7.5

so it makes equal sense to go with osX now.

maybe not now, but think about the version of osX after jaguar....
