I may be crucified for this question but....We have a large infrastructure for a 10BT network 160 users. I would like to begin the migration to NetBoot with the addition of 20 users. How critical do you feel that I consider the 100BT over 10BT now versus later? Do you think there would be a huge performance dropoff? This is a new territory for me, but I have corporate support to keep the mac alive.

NetBoot is optimized for 100bT but it will indeed work in 10bT enviorns. If you will be having over 180 clients netbooting off of 1 X box, I highly suggest investing in faster network hardware. Get 10/100 switches/hubs. this way you don't have to upgrade *everyone* if you don't want to. Besides, Netboot is only available for the New World" machines that already have 10/100 cards in them.
