Do any USB 3 button mice work in MOSX? I would like 3 buttons to work.

I have a Logitech MouseMan Wheel (or something like that) plugged in, and all the buttons are considered the same.

This is true in workspace as well as MacOS.app.

I have a Logitech 3-Button wireless mouse and it works great! I have programmed the other two buttons for Photoshop functions at which it excells. When it begins to act eratic, it's time to change the batteries.

Do you mean you have a Logitech 3-Button wireless mouse which works great under MacOS X Server, as opposed to just plain ol MacOS 8?

I haven't ready anywhere that multiple-button support is even remotely possible because of the way Apple designed the USB driver...

You can find a shareware driver for 3 button mice at the following: http://www.montalcini.com/overdrive/index.html

That is a shareware driver for MacOS 8.5+, not for MacOS X Server.

Maybe a dumb comment, but: don't the kensington trackballs come in USB versions? I sure like the 4-button turbo on the ADB.
