Has anyone installed OS X server on a G4 cube? I assume it would work as well or better than on an iMac or Powerbook.

Also, any clue as to why Apple doesn't support the cube as a server? It's small size seems perfect for a server – it can just sit in a corner somewhere, not taking up space or even making fan noise.

thanks,
Ben

It works fine as a server, you can rackmount them, two side by side without the cases. For the install, choose special install on unsupported platform.
