Two question really if anyone knows or has tried the following. Will OS X Server 1.2 install on a Dual processor G4 even though it won't use the capability until the next revision? And will it see the Gigabit inteface?

Secondly and more importantly - is there any way or has anyone got an adaptec 39160 working with OS X Server as shared space only (ie RAID 1 over the 2 channels)? It is running fine on the internal ATA drive I just need some fast storage on the server.

Thanks if anyone can help,
Oli

"On 2000-07-19, Apple announced the PowerMac G4 (Gigabit Ethernet) and PowerMac G4 Cube computers. Mac OS X Server version 1.2 or earlier does not work with these computers."
