hi,

i just installed pine 4.30 on macosX and it works fine. however it tells me when i open it up that /var/mail is vulnerable and suggests 1777 as a number.

i tried to chmod +1777 but that doesn't work. can anyone explain this error and how i can fix it? it seems like it might be a security concern since it involves the mailboxes.

Omit the '+' (i.e., chmod 1777 /var/mail).
