An open question... I've been given the opportunity as one of the few "Mac" guys around my campus to delve into OS X Server (w/NetBoot, Mac Manager) and I've got to figure out how to authenticate any of 2000 users from OS 8.6 clients through the OS X Server against the "big password" list (your average passwd file from Linux) and provide to these people, upon login, an automatic mount of their account space "/u/username" which is provided via NFS...
I'm a Mac guy... I've delved into OS X PB as a student developer... but so far as networking goes... i'm not sure where to start.
Any useful FAQs, Howto or tips from anyone?
My searches of Apple's TIL and Knowledge base come up with little, same with general search engines - but I could be using the wrong keywords... etc.
