Hi,
I want to install macosxServer on my PMac 8600/200, i know it's an unsupported machine but i did it anyway. The installation work well but the computer won't start in MacOS X Server, they still on the same window for an hour now and I see a spinning wheel at the middle of the screen. I saw somewhere that on unsupported machine we may need to clear the PRAM and NVRAM but now that i install os x server, can i re-install it without problems and clearing the RAM??

If someone can help me it would be very appreciate!
Thanks in advance

Why it's not going to work?? I restart the installation and I got a problem with the CD.. an error with the blue box package, despite of that, it have works fine. But I can't install it because of this error, do ya think I got this error because of my machine? Because the rest of the installation seem to be OK.

It will work. I ran it for a short time on my 8500/120 and have seen it run on older PPCs. I have been using it on my 9600/233 with 256mb RAM or the past couple of months with out any problems.
Check it out at http://fly.to/Mos-Eisley

Try reformating the drive/partition again and starting over. They suggest 1g, but if you want to add a lot of extra stuff to it (software, utilities, etc), then give it at least 1.5-2g. Also I wouldn't have less then 128mb RAM.
