I know how to do it in MOSServer 1.2, but when I look in MOSServer X, I don't see a 'qtss' entry under 'Services'. Any ideas/solutions? I only want to stream on one of the three IP addresses on the machine.

haven't used QTSS but OSX has a built in firewall. do a man ipfw from the console. but if its just qtss I am sure they have a more elegant solution.

Server Admin has IP filtering... You can just block the port(s) used by SS on that IP...

I just installed my Server today, and havent played with the IP Filtering yet so this is just based on what I read in the manual...

Ill take a look in the morning.

Are your IP's all on different nics???

Yes, I'm using one ethernet card just for QTSS.

I found a message in the QTSS apple listserv which indicates the following:
"you only need to do one of the following:
1. Bind Apache and QTSS to different IP addresses
2. Bind Apache and QTSS to different ports (so that port 80 isn't used by
both)"

The file to edit is apparently streamingserver.xml in /etc/streaming
