Im trying to install a mail server on OSX Server 1.2. Is tells me to type:
# make setup check
Basically, a make file routine. Problem is...what is the equivalent of make in OSX? Help!

Please pardon me if the answer is insultingly obvious (and thus not what you were looking for):

... it is .... make!

open a terminal window, and you have a (FreeBSD) unix box command line interface. And make is alive and well in there, just type "make -v" and watch it tell you about itself.
