I recently notice Apple changed the OS X Server logo on the www.apple.com website to a smaller subtle looking line of text from the steel bolted bulky picture icon it had before.

Yeah, it happened a while ago. I like the new look but I wish it'd link to www.apple.com/macosx/server/ (for business reasons).

I agree... I don't think Apple wants the masses to know of the new MacOS X Server... yet. Steve hasn't really mentioned it. No one know's what Apple is doing yet, when are they shipping it? March 24? What's it's official name? OS X Server 2.0? 1.5?

"Mac OS X Server is planned for release shortly after Mac OS X." (from Apple's main OS X Server page)

Its official name is "Mac OS X Server" with probably a "2.0" attached onto the end, as "Mac OS X 1.0" is now.

It'll ship alongside or soon after Mac OS X. I'm betting on a big announcement at WWDC.
