iMovie/OSX server incompatible?

Hi,

My system administrators (at my university here in Japan) have told me that iMovie2 (English version) can NOT be used with OSX server (Japanese version). Is this true?

Any help or explanation is appreciated!

Is the server version 2.0? If it's 1.x, then the answer is simple. Classic apps do not work well in OSXS 1.x. If it is 2.0, then I have no clue.
