Has anybody installed LDAP server...

Hi! Has anybody been able to set up Mac OS X Server (X.10) as a LDAP server. Of course the system can communicate with LDAP but it's got no server package. My UNIX guru attempted to install a genetric LDAP server but there where problems with the compile. Does anybody know a way to do it or a good binary to use? Thanks!
