I m testing MXS 10.03 in our internal network. Can I host many webservers using only one IP address? How can I host many websites? Can I access the websites using a name instead of an IP address?

Thanks

Yes, you can host a lot of websites using only one IP address. You just use the Server Admin program. Go to the Internet tab, click on Web, then choose Configure Web Service. Click on the "Sites" tab. Add as many sites as you want. However, you need to have a DNS entry for all of them, or I don't think it'll work correctly. So basically, add as many sites as you have registered domains. MXS will know which website you're trying to access by the DNS name requested, and will route traffic to the appropriate site.

OK, then I must have registered domain names?
The stuation is: we are in an internal network, behind a DSL router that does NAT. Our IP addresses are not visible from the outside.
We can access other computers in the company through theit IP address.
Knowing this, is it posible to access internal sites through "internal" domain names instead of IP address?
can I have an internal site called "my-intranet" typing its name in the browser?

Certainly stupid questions, but I lack knowledge in the DNS servers stuff.

Thanks
