Has anyone been able to successfully map and use the Active Directory in W2K using LDAP services to LDAP of OSX for authentication?

I have 4 OSX servers and the rest of our Server base is W2K server using Active Directory for our domain. I simply do not want to recreate 6000 users in OSX.

To what functionality can this acheive. Can users mount NT home directories on NT servers using MAcintosh Manager? Can I use the standard www.domain.org/~perbix to web share etc etc etc...

I have not been able to get ANY info on this fro Apple or other sources and don't have a complete grasp on LDAP myself to be able to piece it together.
