2nd Firewire drive cannot be shared!!!!

My MXS G4 has an internal IDE 40 Go HD and 2 external FW 75 Go HD. I can only share one FireWire Disk, and as soon as I try to define a share point on the second one, the Finder gets sssslllllooooooowwwwwwww, I have to force quit, logout and login again. In addition, I never see the second FW HD in the list of available sharepoints.
Needless to say, both HD have the same capacity, formatting, case, permissions....: identical.

Also: the disk #2 mounts only if connected to #1, never if I use the 2nd FW plug.
Strange....
