Hey, does anyone know if there are any good alternative ways to restrict users' access to the system folder other than Mac Manager?

Hmm.. a context free question. Are you having MM problems, or do you not want an X server? Do you need roving abilities? what are your clients running, OSwise?

Simple client security under OS 9.x is achievable with Multiple Users. Power On software have On Guard, and Hi-Resolution have MacAdministrator. FoolProof is, i think, now moribund. If you have X Server, why not NetBoot clients without any security, since a reboot will fix everything?

Perhaps a bit more detail would help us.
