Can someone who has Pantone Colorweb Pro and understands InDesign spot colours do me a favour? I have a user of my application Border who wants to use spot colours with borders in InDesign.
If you have Colorweb and want to help, could you download Border from
here, create any border, set some of the line colours using the Pantone colour selector, and drop the border into InDesign. What I want to know is: does the border created in this way keep the spot colour you gave it, or does it get converted to a process color? If it gets converted, is there an easy way to convert it back?
If Pantone had a trial version of Colorweb I'd try it myself, but I don't really want to buy it just for this: it costs more than a copy of Border!
