Hey everyone,

I got Moby's "Love of Strings" mp4 off the iTunes Music Store. It won't play in iTunes (under Time is says "Not Available"), though I can play it in the Finder.

Is there anything I can do it get it again from the iTunes Music Store? I know you can't redownload if you lost the file, but this is different - the file was corrupted when I downloaded it!

I tried "Check for Purchased Music" and no go - it says I have everything.

I think I'll use WireTap to record the song while I play it from the Finder, but that's kind of lame.

If you can play it in the finder, it isn't corrupt. The "Not Available" just means you've moved the file from where iTunes expects it to be. You should be able to either find the original again and/or just drag the file back onto iTunes to fix the problem.

I thought of that - when I double click it to play, it doesn't ask me to locate the file like it does with other misplaced files.

I even copied it to my desktop, deleted it from the iTunes library within iTunes, and dragged it back in (so it put it into the iTunes Music Library Folder again), and no go.

Now what?
