I am running Canvas 9 on a Titanium G4 and OS 10.2.6.
I recently downloaded and installed the latest version of the Canvas 9 drawing program.
While playing around with it, I created a document which contained a number of non-standard fonts (non-standard in the sense that they are not likely to be builtin to the printer). They look fine on the screen but when I try to print, nothing happens. I can see the print job appear in the OS X Print Center but then it just disappears and nothing ever comes out of the printer. (I am printing to the printer as an lpr since it is connected to an ethernet printserver.)
If I create a similar document that contains standard fonts (e.g. Arial) then the document prints fint.
Also, if I create a PDF from the "non-standard" Canvas document, Acrobat Reader prints it fine with all the fonts correctly represented in the printout.
It seems as though Canvas is not correctly downloading the non-standard fonts to the HP Laserjet 6MP printer. I increased the printer memory from 3MB to 19MB but that did not solve the problem.
I have also poked around in the various pagesetup windows on Canvas and I have looked at the Print Center description for the printer but I don't see any relevant switches to play with.
Any suggestions would be welcome.
