Since Sunday, both Mac torrent sites have been offline, Bittorrent Kicks-ass, and Torrent reactor. Does anyone know the status or what happened to them?

I think Panther downloads brought it down, down, down...heck, even Apple's ADC lines couldn't handle the traffic!

I noticed that much, I guess Sunday was about the time 7B21 was out so maybe they'll be back up soon, I hope.

http://torrentreactor.com/ has been back up for a few days. He has a little blurb about why it went down. And http://btfiles.kicks-ass.net/ is the new name for the other.

Most sites can't cope with the traffic, and so fall flat on their arse. Meanwhile, a lot of sites have been shut down after their ISPs found out what their servers were being used to host

Having said that, if you want to continue your download (can't imagine what it would be ) then torrentreactor is back up and hsoting the exact same thinga ma jiggy

Reactor is back up. Kicks-ass is notoriously unreliable.

How are you going to steal the 10.3 betas now?

"Wedge, pull out! You're not doing any good back there!"
