Has anyone been about to use iSync and a Nextel phone like the i90 or i95cl? Did it work OK? Neither are listed on the iSync discussion on the Apple website but they seem to have the same calendar program and use the same USB cable as the V60 series. Thanks in advance.

I just had a look at the nextel website - I don't recognise those phones at all - who makes them?

They are unlikely to work if they don't use standard GSM-phone-style IrMC protocols.

Most, if not all are Motorola phones. The ones we have specifically asked about, the i90C and i95cl are Motorola. How does one find out whether they use standard GSM-phone-style IrMC protocols or not? Where would we look? I'm very un-knowledgeable about these things.

Motorola were part of the group that were involved in developing IRMC so there is hope.

googling for IRMC and either of the models you mentioned did not turn up anything - which does not bode well.

Even if they do support IRMC then that doesn't mean that they will work in iSync - Apple has to specifically support the phone.

My roommate is trying to talk me into Nextel and I would love it if the i90c or i95cl worked with iSinc, any new info on this? I wonder when the next update to iSync will be?
