If you're using WireTap to record sound played by iTunes, and then play that recorded WireTap sound in iTunes, and the results don't sound very good, we've figured out why.

iTunes has a feature called "Sound Enhancer" with alters the music it is playing so that it "sounds better" -- WireTap records this altered sound as it is supposed to, recording exactly what your computer is playing.

The problem comes in when you try to play this back in iTunes -- it tries to re-Sound Enhance the music was recorded with iTunes Sound Enhancer on already, and results in poor quality playback.

The solution is simple; when recording with WireTap from iTunes, turn off Sound Enhancer.
