The latest Quicktime instaler, 6.3 does not give me te option to uninstall, only easy install. The uninstall box is greyed out and therefore cant be selectred. Whats the workaround?
I have been having extreme trouble with anything Quicktime related. Intermittent periods of extreme static whenever playing a browser embedded qt file, and mp3 playing back through qt, or any dowlnoaded qt movie fiiles. It seems to happen most after a browser has been open for a while.
I tried using Pacifist to remove all of the files from the qt install package, but once I got to the "system" files, I could not replace them as they belong to Root?? Any work around here??
