Is anyone working on a port of IntelliCAD for OS X?
That is one of the few apps on my PeeCee that doesn't seem to have
an alternative on OS X.
Is there a classic version of IntelliCAD?
Or any AutoCAD file reading software for OS X?
(I mainly just look at and print the files, not editing too much.)

Illustrator opens them, but that's a costly option .

I didn't know Illustrator would open them!
I'm a Macromedia guy, so that would be an extra expense for me.
But hey, I wonder if FreeHand will open them... need to go try that.
Anything else that opens AutoCAD .dwg files?

Yeah, illustrator opens them. But not 100% correctly, you can even save as a .dwg from Illustrator. I don't know about Freehand. VectorWorks opens .dxf not sure if it opens .dwg . I don't think there are many other options out there. I think Graphic Converter also opens .dxf but not .dwg . .dwg is a proprietary format that's why it's so hard to find apps that open it.
