My iMovie Photo's Pane does not have any photo's?

I moved all of my iPhoto pictures onto an external Hard Drive. Now I do not have these photo’s available in iMovie 3.0.3 in the Photo’s pane. I have a problem in that I do not remember where the photo’s were originally located on my Hard Drive. I thought I put them in the correct place but they do not show up. Can anyone tell me where to place the iPhoto folder so that I can once again see my iPhoto pictures in the iMovie photo pane?

The pictures need to be in ~/Pictures/iPhoto Libary.

Either move them back and relaunch iMovie or use Netinfo Manager to move your pictures folder over to the external drive
