I was asked the other evening how to reset the database in Excel. Now, I don't use Excel so I'm not sure, and the person who wanted to know was asleep (question had been written down) so I can't elbatore on it anymore than how does one go about resetting the database in excel?

Jim, I think he/she meant Entourage. Click OPTION upon start-up of Entourage and you will then see the rebuild option.AFAIK Excel does not have a data base to rebuild.

I'll ask him next time I talk to him if he meant Entourage, but regardless, thank you.
