so i installed OSX in my purple front tray loading imac and i now i want classic os 9 but the mofo wont even read my disk!

is there a "secret tip" to starting up a new non - clean install of this disk?

To boot from a CD, hold down just 'c' (no command) at startup.

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

Errr...

Nice references to genetalia and defecatory organs in a couple forums.
