As soon as I began using OS X the screen shots I took were always saved as a preview document. I recently installed Adobe Acrobat 6 and since that time all my screen saves are saved as Acrobat documents, I would prefer to know where and how I can change the opening preferences of my screen shots from Acrobat to Preview - I do a lot of screenshots while I'm working on documents as well as browsing the net. I've been changing the opening preferences of each screen shot by going to "Get Info' and changing the 'Open with' preference. Its becoming rather tedious to do this change for all my screen shots, Isn't there are place where I can change the opening default for all my future screen shots ?

Mac OS X screen captures (using the key combo anyways) are PDF files so changing the preference will default all PDFs to whatever app you choose.

You've already done most of the steps, just click the "change all" button after selecting a new app and it'll alter the default.

Thanks Mike S,
I am often shocked in OS X as to how simple things are I mean that 'Change All' buttonm frightened me each time I noticed it !

Another matter about Acrobat itself
What does one have to do to Write /Compose PDF Documents ?
Is it another piece of software ? Or is it right in front of me again ?

You guessed it . Any application that supports printing supports PDF creation. At the bottom of the print panel is a button "Save as PDF"... click it and enjoy.
