A Warning to existing users...this off of MacFixIt:

"Virtual PC 6.1 a re-branding; Microsoft MacBU testing G5s -- Authored by: sbubanovich on Tuesday, August 12 2003 @ 10:26 AM PDT

When I upgraded from 6.0x to 6.1, VirtualPC, when started after the update, said that there has now been a major reconfiguration of your PC and Windows now needs to be reactivated. It required a phone call to Microsoft to reactivate. This was handled quickly and efficiently by Microsoft but updaters should be advised of this process"

So be warned. If you lost that stupid S/N for Windows, you're hosed.

if performance is enhanced, it's well worth the upgrade, but people seem to report no speed increase.... so maybe it is merely a rebranding, and nothing more... that blows. Don't mistake my enthusiasm for it as excitement for a simple rebranding. I'm hoping for a performance boost.
