Will not cost'a you a fortune Mac tools.

An excellent Japanese programmer called 'Matzda' working under the name of 'iMappie'
has a few useful yet also intriguing freeware utilities on offer, I think you may be interested in checking them out :)

http://www.biwa.ne.jp/~matzda/mac.html

If you have problems understanding anthing other than our mother tongue
try : http://babel.altavista.com/ - cut and paste the sites URL and it'll convert the page to pigeon english for you.

Highlights include:

GlassiePad 1.2.1 and Mirax1.5.5 both very sexy GUI 'desktop post-it' style replacements.
Flauncher 1.4.1 an unusual app launcher and lastly PICTDock 1.6.0 a simple dock based slideshow viewer.

All available at his site - Please consider a thank-you email if you find any of 'em usefull.

"Behold the master"

Mr.Hide Itoh's Incredibly generous freeware should grace every Mac as it ships - it's that good:)

Utility software does'nt get much better than this:

1) QuickImageCM 2.1b - wonderful CM -try it -be amazed. (with QuickPlayCM and PDFViewCM - both very useful in their own right)

2) FinderIconCM 1.2 - checking icons/icns files in the finder - no problem.

3) SnapClip 1.6 - perfect for those who have not already spent a fortune on SnapzPro.

4) IconSizeEnabler 1.0 - Strange but ingenious finder icon sizer for those who have already gone APE.

+ More freeware available at his excellent site - check the OS9 icons - Uncomparable talent.

Ya.

QuickImageCM is prolly one of the most useful freeware out there..

It will scale, convert, retouch images via a simple Finder contextual menu.

Excellent!

Another launcher is free (well you can donate) and is very good.

It offers a quick app/documents/bookmarks launcher AND a menu bar search filed (like the Ambrosia SW upcoming app) for free!

Nice, thanks catsankz0r
