I'm using poisoned 0.4 here, normally it just works, but when downloading songs, I don't seem to find anything higher than 128kbps !!! particularly in the FastTrack (KaZaA) network.
and that's bad ... not even when I search for really well known artists where I'm likely to find high quality MP3's ... anyone else ?

actually, a lot of those songs are higher bit rate. for some reason, it just reports them as 128. some sort of bug or something. someone here mentioned it before. if you find multiple mp3 files with the same bit rate, sort by file size, and pick the larger ones. i've dl'd some stuff that said 128, and it was actually 256.

the problems i've having is that i can never get on FastTrack, or even Gnutella, most of the time that i'm running Poisoned. sometimes, i can get better results from using Acquisition.

If fast track isn't working, they might've changed something on their end. In that case, a new version of poisoned (with updated fasttrack plugin) should fix the problem.

can't help you there, it works fine on my Mac, maybe do a search on the forum because it's not hte first time I heard that.
